We are committed to helping patients who suffer from ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, sound sensitivity (hyperacusis) and/or misophonia. Tinnitus is common, affecting about 17% of the general population around the world (44 million people in the USA). It causes significant suffering in about 4% of the general population (10 million in the USA). More than 70% of hearing impaired individuals have had tinnitus. 80% of tinnitus patients have had some evidence of hearing loss.
There are many emotions involved when discovering that you or a loved one suffers from ringing in the ears, hearing loss or perhaps sound tolerance problems. We are here for you as you make your way through the maze of information for tinnitus and hearing loss. Sometimes it can be overwhelming as you begin to search for information on the web. Our goal is to provide helpful information that can assist you in your journey to find viable treatments for hearing loss and/or tinnitus.

There are now numerous choices both for the patient and the clinician on how to best treat tinnitus and/or hearing loss. Do not let anyone tell you to just live with it.
It is an exciting time in the treatment of tinnitus as we see more and more manufacturers bringing to market new devices which are promising in the treatment of tinnitus and/or hearing loss.
It is possible to suffer from both conditions. Not everyone has tinnitus. Not everyone has hearing loss. Some patients have both hearing loss and tinnitus. This is why we offer a wide variety of treatments and devices which will best help each person individually. No one treatment is best for everyone. A large variety of methods exist to deal with tinnitus and/or hearing loss, the most common being the use of hearing aids or various sound generators, as well as various types of psychological approaches and therapies. We offer comprehensive audiology services that range from diagnostic hearing evaluations, tinnitus assessments, tinnitus consultations, hearing aid evaluations, as well as designing treatment programs that utilize the newest technology.
